By: CHELSEA SCHILLING SACRAMENTO – Beginning on Jan. 1, child prostitution will be legal in the streets of California. In fact, police officers in the state will be banned from arresting any person under the age of 18 for soliciting or loitering with intent, according to Senate Bill 1322. California Gov. Jerry Brown signed the bill on Sept. 26, and it will go into effect Sunday.

The Denver Broncos have sent home practice squad safety Ryan Murphy after authorities questioned him during a prostitution sting in San Jose, California. The Santa Clara County Sheriff's office said officers detained 23-year-old Murphy but released him after determining that he was not involved in any criminal activities. Nita Belles, a woman whose mission is to end human trafficking, agrees with the move. "He should be sent home. That behavior is absolutely inexcusable," said Belles, who is the author of the book In Our Backyard. "Human trafficking is everywhere, 365 days a year in every zip code in the United States. Anywhere there is Internet there is trafficking and not just sex trafficking but labor trafficking," Belles said. Source: NY Times
By JOSEPH GOLDSTEIN KABUL, Afghanistan — In his last phone call home, Lance Cpl. Gregory Buckley Jr. told his father what was troubling him: From his bunk in southern Afghanistan, he could hear Afghan police officers sexually abusing boys they had brought to the base. “At night we can hear them screaming, but we’re not allowed to do anything about it,” the Marine’s father, Gregory Buckley Sr., recalled his son telling him before he was shot to death at the base in 2012. He urged his son to tell his superiors. “My son said that his officers told him to look the other way because it’s their culture.
And every year, as if on cue, the city hosting the Super Bowl announces an awareness campaign to combat sex trafficking around what many in the media have referred to as “the biggest weekend for U.S. prostitution.” For example, Scottsdale announced a billboard campaign earlier this month, and the Phoenix police department recently revised its policy concerning prostitution. And while it makes sense that an event that draws hundreds of thousands of spectators would increase the demand of sex for sale, there isn’t much evidence to support the claims.

The report does not specify the number of men that were affected but does state that it was an organized mass circumcision. ISIS has ordered the circumcision of all Christian children and adults who remain in Mosul. Very few Assyrian Christians stayed in Mosul after ISIS gave them a deadline to convert, pay jizya, leave or die (AINA 2014-07-20). The report also states that ISIS sold 700 Yazidi women for $150 each in a public slave auction in Mosul. He was in Sofia, Bulgaria when a Roma Gypsy man tried to sell his six-month-old son to him for $50, because Stewart said the baby was beautiful. That moment inspired Stewart to do something. He has now published a 365-day photo journal created to abolish human trafficking. Called "Shoot the Skies," the book's photographs are stunning—a starry sky over snow-peaked mountains, a lightning storm over the plains, and other amazing moments in nature. Source: Walid Shoebat By Theodore Shoebat The top religious authorities of Pakistan, called The Council of Islamic Ideology, have deemed the prohibition of child marriage, which is really pedophilia, as contrary to Islam. They attacked Pakistan’s Prohibition of Child Marriages Act as something that goes against Islam. Tahir Ashrafi, a member of the council, protested with these disturbing words: There is no specific age limit for marriage in Sharia … Sharia says an individual can marry when he or she reaches puberty and puberty cannot be defined by age …Family members can marry a child if they think he or she has reached puberty. |
